Highly recommended :
Batman : Dark Knight
- The mosts A/B-list casts I’ve seen so far in a film – Christian Bale (batman/bruce wayne), Heath Ledger(the Joker), Morgan Freeman (Lucious Fox), Maggie Gyllenhaal (Rachel Dawes), Micheal Caine (Alfred), Gary Oldman (Gordon), Aaron Eckhart (Harvey Dent/Two-face)
- Great performance by Heath Ledger as the Joker. Possible awards nominations are buzzing around! I just love his Joker-laugh and “Why so serious?” tag line but what’s with the tongue-thingy…? Nevertheless, how I wish a call for an encore was possible.
- Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachel Dawes is 200% better than Katie Holmes.
- Good story line.
- The record-breaking opening weekend, overtaking Spiderman-3’s record.
Highly searched:
Anwar Ibrahim
- Heard from a friend that “Anwar Ibrahim” was the highest searched term in Google.
- Her friend wrote an entry on the recent traffic jammed in the City Centre (and the outskirts) and how it was due to the proposed rally planned by Anwar. And her entry suddenly got an unlikely high traffic itself.
- i’m putting his name in here just to test whether it is still true or otherwise…
- [UPDATE: 23/07/08] – People has seem to lost interest in him or it has quiet down for a moment
Highly wanted:
Jolie-Pitt twins
- Angelina finally given birth to her twins, Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon, on July 13th 2008.
- The media are now “fighting” over the first photos of the famous twins.
- Although some might say Brad and Angie are selling/manipulating their children by ’selling’ the twins’ photos (worth USD$11M !), i believe they are using their celebrity status to full use and for charity… it’s a selfless act. and they know what they’re doing.

Lovely couple, aren't they?
Highly petrol-saving:
Perodua Kenari
- Only requires RM50 worth of fuel from KL to Jasin, Melaka and back again.
- was doing on average 120km/hour at 3.5rpm
- calculated the km the car can go from the first-level fuel indicator to half of the empty tank indicator : 368km
Highly mind-boggling:
the scene with commissioner gordon, the joker and batman
- it opened with the joker in the dark interrogation room (that only has one door) with only the interrogation light’s on. the commissioner tried to get the joker to answer his questions but of course to no avail. not looking disappointed, the commissioner said “i need coffee” and left the room but not without first switching on the light. et alors! batman standing behind the joker…

"surrrr-priiiisssseeee!"
- i’m just wondering how batman actually planned this entire thing with gordon? imagine how the conversation went between the two…
batman : here’s the plan. when no one’s around, i’ll sneak into the room.
gordon : ok, then, i’ll bring him into the room. but how do i know if u’r already in or not…?
batman : oh, right. i’ll switch off all the lights
gordon : yeah… that’ll give the element of surprise! but can u switch on the interrogation light on?
batman : what for?
gordon : so i don’t trip on anything as i bring the joker in… i’m 4-eyed remember?
batman : oh, ok… doesn’t make much difference to me. i’m blind as a bat!
gordon : errr..
batman : anyway, once he’s there, ask him a few questions. if by the 3rd he doesn’t answer, leave the room. i’ll take care of the rest.
gordon : sure.
batman : don’t forget to switch on the light as you walk out.
gordon : i thot u wanted the room dark
batman : u know… it’s the at-first-no-batman-no-threat element. then, tadaaaa.. batman’s-here-i-have-to-spill-everything-to-him…
gordon : errr…? whatever…
- yeah.. sounds a bit ridiculous… but, don’t you ever wonder about these sort of things? or is it just me?
;P
